Common questions
Can you design the enclosure, not just print it?
Yes. Send the PCB or board outline (STEP or dimensions), connector and control positions, and a sketch of the form you want. We design the enclosure around it with mounts, cutouts and fasteners, then print it.
How accurate are the fits for connectors and cutouts?
Panel cutouts and port openings are typically held to about ±0.15 mm, tuned to the connector so USB, DC jacks, switches and displays seat cleanly.
Can you fit threaded inserts and fasteners?
Yes — heat-set brass inserts for repeated assembly, plus screw bosses, snap-fits, captive nuts and standoffs for the board.
Which material should I choose for an enclosure?
PETG or ASA for general use and outdoor UV resistance, ABS for a classic project box, nylon or PC for impact and heat, and flame-retardant or ESD-safe grades where the application needs them.
Can I get a small batch of enclosures?
Yes — tens to a few hundred by 3D printing, and we can move you to vacuum casting or a rapid injection tool as volumes grow.
