Biodegradable
PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a fully bio-degradable polymer, which makes it one of the more eco-friendly options for 3D printing.
Renewable source
It is derived from renewable plant starches such as sugar cane or beet - not from petroleum-based feedstock.
Refined for strength
The "+" is a modified blend: tougher and less brittle than plain PLA, with better impact and layer-bond strength.
